“Kimmie, time to get up.” Kim Possible: teen hero, martial arts master, all-star lead cheerleader, and high schooler rolled out of bed with a groan. With a pout she looked over at her alarm clock; 6:00 AM. Ugh, she really needed to get better work hours if she was going to be keeping up the world-saving gig. Her mother, Anne, poked her head into the teen hero’s bedroom and sighed at the sight of her daughter shoving her head under the several pillows on her bed.

Anne Possible sighed; her daughter was really working herself into an early grave. “Kim, you have to get up for school. Now come on, it won’t be that bad. The day will fly by without you even knowing it.”

Kim mumbled something under her breath but eventually left the bliss of her pillows and headed off to the bathroom. Anne Possible shook her head and left to start breakfast, maybe Ronald could do something to take some of the workload off Kim? She would have to talk to him about that when he came over for breakfast.

“When I get my hands on that woman I’ll ring her neck!” The henchmen working for Drakken made a quick note to stay out of Shego’s way this morning. The super powered villain already sent two henchmen to the infirmary when they accidentally bumped into her in the hallway. Now she was stomping off to the main lab with a vengeance.

The doors slid open and the good doctor jumped in surprise. He had stayed up all night looking for information on Shego’s mystery opponent, not that he was scared of Shego or anything. “S-S-Shego…I was just about to send for you!”

To Drakken, his pale-skinned assistant was in a much better mood than when she first came back last night. He was just happy she didn’t blast him the moment she walked in.

Shego strolled over to the consol Drakken was working at. It looked as if the man hadn’t gotten any sleep; good, served him right for not getting enough intel on that heist before sending her. “Tell me you have a name, Drakken.”

“Well…not exactly.” He stared to flail his arms when Shego’s fist lit up. “I do know who does!”

Shego relaxed a bit; she could work off some tension by nuking the lab after she got what she wanted. Better yet, she start her hunt for the red-suited thief once she got a bit of information; i.e., a name. “Who is it, Drakken? Gimme that name!”

Drakken gulped and pulled up a file on the main viewer. It was a list of purchases marked by Global Justice as suspicious.

Shego crossed her arms; she didn’t see anything that could help her on the screen. “Yes, it’s quite a feat to hack into Global Justice and we’re all unworthy of your talents blah, blah, blah. How does this help me find who I fought last night?”

Drakken rolled his eyes and pulled up another window. This one showed one of his plans for a large-scale particle accelerator. “See? Some of these parts correspond with the ones marked! The plans you were supposed to get last night were for a compact particle accelerator but there are some parts that have to be included no matter the size. That means…”

“…the red-suited tramp already delivered the plans to whoever she was working for! Who's buying all those parts, Dr. D?” Shego asked. Drakken’s eye twitched; now that she’s getting what she wants it’s back to ‘Dr. D’ and being somewhat respectful…

A few quick key strokes brought up the image of a familiar mad German. Shego’s smirk was anything but kind as she looked at the picture. “Time to pay the good doctor a visit…”

Kim and Ron walked to her locker between classes. The teen hero was really wasn’t in the mood for the amount of concern her sidekick was showing.

‘Bet mom had something to do with this…’ Kim thought as she took out the books needed for her next class. Kim sighed again as she saw the blonde look at her with a appraising eye yet again.

“KP, you looked a bit out of it during class…” Ron trailed off as Rufus nodded enthusiastically from Ron's pocket.

Kim sighed and was about to answer him when her Kimunicator started going off. She quietly thanked what luck she had as she watched the small screen in her locker flicker to life. “What's the stitch?”

The young boy on the screen fidgeted for a bit before answering. “We’ve got an…unusual situation developing on the outskirts of town.”

“Crazy monkeys taking over Middleton unusual or space aliens abducting the president unusual?” When Kim and Wade just started at him, Ron shrugged. “What?”

Kim shook her head and turned back to the boy genius. “What’s going on, Wade?”

“Well…about five minutes ago Global Justice satellites picked up a large explosion in an abandoned factory. Some unusual energy readings were also picked up right before the explosion.”

“So? If it’s an abandoned factory let the police take care of it.” Kim commented quickly.

“Radioactive energy, Kim. Green radioactive energy.” Wade elaborated.

Ron snapped his fingers. “Shego!” both he and Rufus declared at the same time. On the screen Wade nodded. “That doesn’t make sense, though. Why would Shego destroy an abandoned factory?”

Wade shrugged and punched in a few commands. A small map popped up on the screen and showed a rout from the high school to the old industrial district. “There’s a map if you wanna check it out; it’s up to you, Kim.”

The redhead looked at the map and grinned. “Well, it’s either fight with Shego or math class; is there really any choice? Ron, we’re going.”

“Booya! Come on, Rufus!” the little mole rat cheered in response as Ron rushed to the exit. Kim said some parting words to Wade. She grabbed another bag out of her locker as an after-thought before taking off after her blonde sidekick.

“Now…for the most delicate part of the procedure…” All was quite in the underground lair of one, Doctor Dementor. With a steady hand, he tilted the beaker of solution until one drop started to dangle over a large pot of bubbling liquid. Only a few more seconds and ultimate victory would be his…

A large explosion shook the compound causing the entire beaker to fall into the pot. The tiny German let out a groan of frustration. He was so close to coming up with the perfect coffee mix, too. Various henchmen darted around his lab checking the security monitors. Dementor himself walked over to the main console and scowled; a familiar pale-green woman had just blown into the hidden tunnel that lead to his lab followed closely by a blue-skinned man in a matching color lab coat he knew all-too-well.

“Just wonderful, the beauty and the buffoon. Send squad four to the tunnels to deal with the intruders.” The henchmen Dementor was addressing snapped to attention and barked off orders into a nearby microphone. On the security screen Shego and Drakken were getting closer to the main lab. The squad sent against the former hero folded like a house of cards before her skill. Even Drakken managed to nail one with his laser pistol. The German scientist sighed and started counting down from ten. At ‘two’ the thick metal door was blown off its hinges and the fifty or more henchmen in the room formed a wall between it and their employer.

As Shego stalked into the room some of Dementor‘s men cringed at the sight of her flaming hands but more were left scared shitless at the grin she was sporting. When she spoke, it was almost like a purr. “Hello, Doctor. Can we have a…dialog?”

--Present--

“Ron! Hurry it up!” Kim shouted as she raced down the sidewalks of Middleton. It was quickly decided that the pair would have to foot it over to the industrial district as finding other means of transportation would require time they didn’t have. Shego wasn’t going to stay around all day in an abandoned warehouse.

“KP, are you sure this is the right way? I mean, I’ve never been down this street before…” Ron yelled as he fought to keep up. The redhead ahead of him was setting a furious pace.

Kim glanced over her shoulder and adjusted her pace to let the blonde boy catch up. Once they were together, she pointed to another side street that ran between two empty buildings. “I’m positive, just trust me.”

Ron glanced at Rufus who was hanging on for dear life and nodded in cynic with him. The crime-fighting pair turned down the side street Kim pointed out and soon saw smoke rising from a particular warehouse. The gate that was half melted was a dead giveaway that Shego or Drakken was inside.

“KP, look at that huge hole in there!” Ron shouted. Kim looked where he was pointing and there was indeed a large hole. The crime fighter also noticed a tunnel of some sort leading down.

“Ok, looks like Drakken and Shego were trying to get somewhere in a hurry and got sloppy. Lets go, Ron.” Kim and Ron dashed into the crater and down the tunnel within. After a few moments of running, they entered what looked like an underground lair. They stopped when a loud explosion shook the entire complex. With unspoken instructions they both ran towards the source of the explosion until they hit a fork in the road.

“Which way, KP?”

Kim looked between the two paths and closed her eyes in thought. Ron could have sworn she cursed under her breath but wrote it off as him hearing things.

“Ron, go left and I’ll go right. If you run into Drakken or Shego wait for me to catch up. Got that?” Kim asked. Ron looked uncertain for a moment but eventually agreed and took off down the left path. Kim hesitated for a few moments before she ran down the right path.

Ron ran as fast as his legs would go. His muscles burned from the abuse but he couldn’t let Kim down. Mrs. Possible had asked him that very morning to make sure her daughter took it easier on the next few missions since she was showing signs of exhaustion. He silently hoped he ran into Drakken and Shego first so Kim would get a break. He passed several unconscious henchmen on the way down his path; that was a good sign. A large door blasted off it’s hinges was an even better sign so he and Rufus peaked around what was left of the door and spotted Shego squaring off against several henchmen with Dr. Dementor watching. Drakken was trying to pick off a few of them with a laser pistol but his aim was absolutely horrible.

Shego smirked as she kicked another hapless henchman into dreamland. “Dementor, I think you need to hire better help.” The German scowled as he watched his last five henchmen try and surround Shego. As they closed in they didn’t notice the subtle smile the green-suited thief had before she flared her plasma. The light blinded them long enough for Shego to drop to the floor and use a leg sweep to bowl them all over. With a leap, Shego had Dementor hoisted off the ground. With a cocky smirk, she roughly pinned him to the wall of his lair.

“Now…” Shego started as she lifted a flaming fist into his face. “…lets talk about the person you bought those particle accelerator plans off of. First, tell me a name.”

From their hiding spot by the door, Ron and Rufus listened intently. If Dementor had a new weapon Kim should be informed about it.

Doctor Dementor gulped and started to stutter in German. A snarl from Shego made him gather his wits in a hurry. “H-h-her name is…”

A knife embedded itself in the wall next to Dementor’s head. Shego dropped the doctor and spun around. Drakken, Ron, and Rufus all did the same and the latter two were shocked to see a woman dressed in a red catsuit and black ski mask standing right behind them. Her arm was still stretched out from the amazing throw.

“Why Peaches! I didn’t expect to see you again so soon.” the digitized voice said. The woman’s blue eyes glanced at the blonde boy and mole rat who were exposed to her from the angle they were standing.

Dementor used the distraction to crawl to the other side of the room and hide behind an overturned metal desk. “Cleis! You chose to take me up on my offer after all! I knew you thought my world-domination plans were perfect, no doubt you want a piece of what I can offer.”

Cleis turned to Dementor and crossed her arms. “You called me, Doctor. One of your henchmen used my personal channel to contact me and you’re lucky I was still in town.”

Dementor thanked whatever henchmen called his red-clad savior. “It doesn’t matter why you’re here, just get rid of them!”

“Let’s see…for overtime, weapons cost, close-quarters fighting, and dealing with Shego I’ll only charge you…$119,131.60. That’s a bargain for your life, yes?”

Shego’s eyes nearly bugged out at that price while Drakken and Ron went into coughing fits. Dementor actually weighed out his life vs. that exuberant price before growling out his agreement. With that, Cleis ignored Ron and Rufus and ran out into the center of the room.

“Send the amount to my account or I’ll hunt you down, Dementor. Of course, you know that, don’t you? Now, make for the hall while I hold Duchess here off.” Ron and Drakken almost choked again when the new woman called Shego ‘Duchess.’ The small German did as he was told and made a break for the door. In a split second decision, Ron leapt out of his hiding place and blocked the path of the fleeing madman.

“Ack! It’s…um…damn, I can‘t remember your name. Nevermind, Cleis, take care of him!” the German yelled as he pointed to a fuming Ron Stoppable.

Cleis glanced over her shoulder and snorted before turning her attention back to Shego. “Sorry, Doc. You have to deal with that one because I’ve got my hands full.” The masked woman pulled out her large knife and went into her stance. Drakken watched from the sidelines, unsure about what he should do. Help Shego against her red-clad clone or help the buffoon take down his long-time rival…

“So, your name is 'Cleis?' I was expecting something…more dynamic.” Shego mused as she walked in a circle around the red-clad thief. Cleis followed her opponent using the reflection off the blade of her knife.

“Yes, and 'Shego' is so much better? I think the public gets you're a 'girl that goes' without you having to use it as a name.” Cleis shot back. She was rewarded with seeing Shego flinch and bare her teeth but the pale mercenary didn’t attack.

Shego kept her rage bottled up but it took a lot of willpower the former hero didn‘t know she had. Shego vented her annoyance in a low chuckle. “Don’t think I’ll rush you like last time. I, unlike you, learn from my mistakes.”

“Oh? And what mistake have I made?” the thief asked. She watched Shego smirk in the reflection of her knife.

“You assume…” Shego’s hands started dripping plasma as she drew back her fist. “…THAT I WILL ATTACK YOU HEAD-ON!”

Cleis bit off a curse as she cartwheeled away from a flaming plasma bolt. Shego pushed her advantage and sent shot after shot towards the nimble thief. Cleis pulled out two throwing knives from her leg strap and hurled them at the pale-skinned woman. Shego mearly swatted them away with her trademark gloves. Both women put even more distance between one another as the red-clad woman looked for an opening. Shego could produce an unlimited number of plasma shots while she only had eight more knives not counting her main weapon.

“Is that it? You’re throwing cutlery at me, that’s an insult.” Shego scoffed as she charged up a shot in each hand. She watched with something akin to glee as her first shot made the doppelganger leap out of the way. With lightning-quick thinking Shego launched the second shot where she thought the other woman would land.

“Damn!” Cleis’s digital voice called out as she braced for the shock. Bits of rock flew up from the explosion and cut at her skin ripping her suit in several places and drawing blood.

Shego snapped her fingers in frustration; her timing was a fraction of a second off. “You’re lucky; another half second and you would have been a red spot on the wall.”

“Well, good thing you’re loosing your sight in your old age, isn’t it?” Cleis taunted. Shego let out a howl and sent another plasma bolt at the masked woman. Instead of dodging, Cleis tensed her arm and sliced the bolt with her knife. Shego watched in awe as her lethal attack was snuffed out like a dying fire.

“Seems I have to pull out the stops, huh, Peaches?” Cleis asked as she dropped into her attack stance yet again. Shego started to grind her teeth, this gnat needed to be swatted. As if on an unseen queue, the two women rushed one another. Shego feinted a right hook and when Cleis went to block the older woman lashed out with her left leg. Cleis grunted as Shego’s boot-clad foot smashed into her ribs but the red-clothed woman wasn’t going to let her opponent go unscathed from the hit. With a supple quickness, Cleis’ right arm caught Shego’s foot and held her leg for a fraction of a second while her left snaked underneath the raven-haired woman’s leg. A quick jab at the back of Shego’s knee caused a lasting numbness in the appendage even as Shego forced it’s freedom by way of a palm thrust to Cleis’ solar plexus. The two fighters disengaged as Shego stomped her foot, trying to get some feeling back into it while Cleis tried to get air back in her lungs.

“Damn, those pressure points really are something else. Too bad I heal a lot faster than a normal human.” Shego stated. Her opponent answered by whipping out another throwing knife and sending it sailing at the older thief. Shego was surprised by this and twisted to the side to avoid the weapon. Unfortunately, her leg was still sluggish and she couldn’t get her defense together long enough to block the thrust kick Cleis launched while Shego was concentrating on the knife. Drakken’s sidekick went flying back into the wall of the lair with a sickening thud.

“You thought you were all that but you weren’t!”

Drakken’s cry of victory distracted the masked thief long enough for Shego to pull the knife that originally stopped her from dealing with Dementor out from the wall. Stealing a page from Cleis’ book for once, the raven-haired woman launched the weapon at her opponent. The red-clad woman’s eyes widened in surprise as her own blade sunk into her thigh. Shego was about to press her new advantage when an alarm started to sound.

“What the hell? Drakken, get over here!” Shego yelled at her blue boss. The original catsuit wearing thief noticed Dementor laying unconscious by the buffoon; seems they teamed up to beat on a midget, that was just great.

“What is it, Shego! Have you dealt with your clone yet?” Drakken asked as he took in the sight of Cleis ripping a knife out of her leg.

“Go check that alarm. I don’t like the looks of that countdown…” Shego suggested as she watched her opponent. Cleis was looking between her and the knocked out German while Drakken started typing on the main consol. Cleis gritted her teeth and made a break for the downed doctor with Shego racing to intercept. Her own leg mostly healed up, Shego easily got between the doctor and the masked thief.

“Going somewhere?” Shego purred as her hands lit up.

“Shego! We’ve got to leave, Dementor must have pressed a remote trigger before I took showed him who’s better; we’ve got less than three minutes to get out of here!” Drakken yelled as he ran past Shego and Cleis.

“Well Duchess, looks like you have a choice. Let me go and we both live or fight me and we both die.”

“What’s stopping me from kicking your head in and leaving before the place blows?”

Cleis tensed her hand. Only too late did Shego catch on to what her opponent was doing. With the flick of her wrist, the masked thief send the knife she pulled out of her leg speeding towards the fleeing Drakken. Shego cursed as she leapt on her boss to make him miss the blade. With Shego and Drakken laying in a heap, Cleis sprinted as fast as she could towards the fallen Dementor. Ron and Rufus were already trying to drag him out the door when Cleis grabbed the German by the back of his collar and lifted him up.

“What did you do with Kim!” Ron shouted at the woman. Cleis looked behind her to see an irate Shego getting off of her one woman dog pile. She also noted that the place only had two minutes before it blew.

“Oh, the redhead. She’s in a better place than us, that’s for sure. I dumped her unconscious ass in a dumpster across the street from here. Now, if you want to live you’d better follow me.” With that said, Cleis ran off down the hall. Ron and Rufus looked at each other; they had no choice but to believe the woman. The procession of heroes and villains sprinted down the hallway towards the exit. Shego and Drakken followed the trail of blood Cleis left behind as the masked woman pushed her body to the limit.

“You and your rat better pick up the pace or we’re all going to get a very bad tan in the next few minutes!” Cleis yelled in her digital voice as the pair started their vertical climb up the tunnel Shego and Drakken used to break into Dementor’s lair; the latter two villains were hot on their heels. Suddenly, an immense explosion rocked the industrial section of Middleton. Just as the group of people darted out of the topside warehouse the entire tunnel network imploded on itself taking most of the building with it. Cracks started to break the street while sections of the immediate area sank into the ground. It was as if an earthquake was limited to a three block radius as multiple buildings started to shift and split apart. Ron, Drakken, and Shego were bathed in dust as the warehouse they were just in collapsed in a heap.

Ron stared wide-eyed at the scene as he ran around the area looking through various dumpsters that had escaped destruction. “Kiiiiiiiiim! Where are you? Say something!”

“Shego…what just happened?” Drakken asked in a stupor. He looked around at the sheer destruction as car alarms blared for blocks around them. Shego coughed some of the dust out of her lungs as she scanned her field of vision.

“Screw that, where is that bitch! She got away with Dementor!” Shego snarled. Police sirens caught Drakken’s ear as he finally got his feet under him.

“Shego, we’re leaving! You can get the clone next time.” Drakken said as he pulled out a small remote. A few seconds after he pushed a switch on it a hovercraft de-cloaked a few feet away. The doctor breathed a lot easier knowing that it was undamaged. Shego punched the ground in rage before she followed the blue doctor onto the craft.

Ron wasn’t paying any attention to the retreating duo as he frantically searched for his lost partner. Rufus was sifting though some rubble before a groan and a flash of red hair caught his attention. The mole rat started chattering excitedly trying to get Ron’s attention. The blonde ran over to see what his friend was pointing at.

“Oh god, Kim!” Ron almost fainted at the sight before him. Kim was bleeding from all over her body and she was missing her shoes and half her shirt. Even though she was unconscious her friend tried his best to keep her comfortable while the emergency vehicles swarmed the scene…
