“KP, did you just-”

The gasp of the young man turned to dust as Shego ran. The cramped passageway gave barely enough headroom - but after what she had seen, she would have taken an air vent were it near.

This was not Kim Possible. It simply could not be. Henchmen did not drop from mere touch. And silence did not befall them after their collapse. A chill did not emanate from mere steps. Yet, here she was: Running. Running from the pure horror that she had become witness to. Running down the endless chasm. Watching the dim light behind her fade away as she sped.

Darkness enveloped.

The chill swept over.

Entrapped, she froze.

In front of her. She was standing right in front of her. Shego backed up, fear rapidly accruing.

“Princess - Can we-”

Her hands flew to her throat as it caught, every inch of the skin surrounding burning with fire. Shego clawed at her collar furiously, trying to loosen the pythonic grip - but it refused failure.

The searing pain tore through her body, inflaming with every step that Kim took towards her. As Kim stepped next to her, Shego had long been forced to drop to her knees from weakness. So talking was out of the question. She looked up, pleading. Pleading for mercy with her eyes.

Kim paid it no heed.

Shego felt the top half of her body forced into ridigidity, her back slamming up against a wall.

Which did not exist.

Her head chained to the invisible barrier. Her body lit afire by a stinging that would not cease. Her throat constricted, left destitute of the air it so desperately gasped for. Her mind, petrified.

All was preparation.

Against their will, the eyes of Shego fixed upon Kim as the redhead finally removed her hood. At first, Shego was somehow relieved when she saw the normal face of her teenage adversary. But then, horror soon re-took the pale-skinned woman as she watched the skin of the teenager began boiling, as if water poured in a heating kettle. She tried to turn her head away, avert her eyes – but they were fixed. There was nothing that she could do, except watch the rest unfold:

The skin of Kim Possible continued to boil, until it boiled away, leaving beneath the skin her blood vessels and innards. Shego wished to scream as those blood vessels collapsed, and the crimson liquid poured down in absolute bucketfuls, pooling itself around her soon-immobile feet. Then all the muscles in her adversary began to sizzle, quiver & pop. They, too, liquefied, adding to the pool growing around the feet of the pale-skinned woman. Shego wanted to puke, but was, of course, unable to. Next, the organs of the teenage hero boiled away, adding more to the disgusting puddle Shego was standing in. And as much as Shego fought, it did not stop.

Kim put the hood of her cloak back up over her head – and Shego let her heart stop for a split second as everything became clear. But that could not be. It just could not. There had to be a-

The sands dried up.

The skeleton finger brushed her, and Shego instantly became one with her former archenemy.
